Light at the end of a tunnel... Train... Crap!
So it's been a little rough for a while, but I finally found a new job! Also, we figured out all our financial aid crap through Weber (freakin' pain in the butt!) which means my book will be getting published soon. I'm all kinds of excited, but I'm starting to feel nervous. Once it's out, I need everyone I know to tell everyone they know and so on. Then I want to hear what everyone thinks. Children of Luminance will be coming soon!

First Anniversary...a week ago
Last friday (Oct 2nd) was our first wedding anniversary and originally I was going to post a bunch of pictures and memories of our first year together, because there are a lot of great ones. But I just haven't gotten around to a computer I could do that on with enough time to do it. Hopefully, eventually... I will get around to doing that.
For now, I'd like to share how sweet my honey is. Friday while I was at work Russ was up to something. I would call him on my breaks and he wouldn't want to talk because he didn't want to give anything away. When I got home at about 6:30 tired and starving he was peeking through the blinds waiting for me. I walked in the door to find the kitchen table in the middle of very clean room with a little candle flickering and a delicious homemade steak dinner, all topped off with Martinelli's sparkling apple juice in champagne glasses and a cd playing classical piano. He is so sweet and cute. We enjoyed our wonderfully prepared dinner and wedding cake (which still tasted amazing for being a year old) and then a movie.
I would just like to express how greatful I am for Russell and how wonderful this last year has been. Russell is my best friend and has always been there for me. I love him with all of my heart and I am so lucky to be his for the rest of eternity.
